Bars

A custom bar turns a basement into the room everyone wants to be in. Palmer’s Woodworking is a Fergus shop run by Licensed Cabinet Maker Craig Palmer, and we designed, built and installed every one of the bars on this page.

We design, build and install custom bars for homes in Fergus, Belwood, Elora, Guelph and the rest of Wellington County. Most are basement bars, with a counter for bar stools out front and storage behind. You’ll see dark stained cabinetry, glass-door display cabinets for bottles and glassware, wine racks, stone and tile bar fronts and stone-look countertops. Planning a backyard version? See our outdoor bars, or browse our custom cabinets for more storage ideas.

Every bar starts with how you like to entertain. We’ll listen, give you honest feedback and bring a sharp eye for detail to the cabinets, trim and finish, so your bar looks great and works hard for years.
