Palmer’s Woodworking designed, built and installed this bar for our client in Fergus, Ontario.

This custom bar in Fergus is laid out like a galley, with dark cabinets running along both sides and white counters on top. At the far end, a tall section of open shelves holds bottles and glasses, with more cabinets below.

A beverage fridge is built into the cabinets on the left, and a sink sits in the counter so you can pour and rinse in the same spot. A tall pantry cabinet on the right gives even more storage.

The dark cabinets and white counters make a bold contrast, and the grey plank floor ties them together. Framed signs on the wall above the shelves add a fun finishing touch.

A galley layout like this keeps everything within a step or two, which makes a bar easy to work in, even in a narrow space.
