We brought unique style to our client’s home in Belwood, ON with this custom bar – designed, crafted and seamlessly integrated into their basement.

This close-up shows the custom bar cabinets in Belwood that sit on the back wall. Two tall glass doors frame an open centre section, and lights inside each one make the glasses and bottles sparkle.

The open shelves in the middle are backed with a mirror, which makes the space look deeper and shows off the bottles from both sides. Down below, there’s a counter with a bar sink and a tall faucet, with room left to set out wine and glasses.

The crown moulding along the top and the dark wood finish match the rest of the bar, so the upper cabinets and the counter below look like one piece of furniture. It’s the kind of detail that makes a basement bar feel like a real pub.

Here’s the full bar with its stools, and the bar counter with the beverage fridge. For other bar designs, browse our bars.
