A gazebo with a hot tub deck is about as relaxing as a backyard gets. Here, the octagonal gazebo sits at the top of a multi level deck, with wide steps leading down past the hot tub to the lower level.

The gazebo has screened windows on every side, each one framed with a curved top, and a screen door that keeps the bugs out on summer evenings. A shingled roof rises to a small cupola that crowns the whole structure.

The deck boards run in clean, straight lines, and each step has a solid nosing along its edge. The hot tub is wrapped in wood to match, so everything feels like one design.

Beyond the deck, open fields stretch to the horizon. It’s a quiet spot to soak, then step up into the gazebo to cool off in the shade.

From the same project, see the gazebo from across the deck and the gazebo beside the house.
