Gazebos #2

Gazebo on a deck, with screened windows and a cupola on the roof, looking out over open farmland, designed, built and installed by Palmer's Woodworking.

Putting a gazebo on a deck gives you a covered room right where you already spend your time outside. This one sits on its own raised platform at the edge of a wide deck, with a view across open farmland.

Each side of the gazebo has a railing below and a screened window above, so the breeze comes through while the bugs stay out. The roof is finished with shingles and topped with a cupola.

The deck in front is broad and open, with plenty of room for chairs and a table, and the hot tub sits just to one side. Fresh wood like this takes on a lovely warm glow, especially after a summer rain.

From inside the gazebo, you can sit in the shade and take in the whole view of the countryside. It’s a peaceful place to read, have coffee or simply watch the weather roll in.
