Up close, you can see the details of the privacy screen and pergola on this deck. The bottom of the screen is solid boards for privacy, with lattice panels above to let in light, and a pergola top finishes it off.

A wood planter box sits on the deck in front of the screen, filled here with bright yellow mums. Next to it, the railing with black balusters runs along the edge of the deck, and the wood deck boards are crisp and even.

A privacy screen and pergola turn a corner of the deck into a sheltered spot. They give you somewhere to sit out of view, and the pergola adds a bit of shade overhead. Palmer’s Woodworking builds them from our Fergus shop to match the deck they sit on.
