Palmers Woodworking recently designed, built, and installed this beautiful custom wall unit for a client in Conestoga, Ontario. Featuring open shelving above and four spacious drawers below with elegant brass hardware, the unit blends functionality with timeless style. Perfect for storage and display, it transforms the space into a polished and practical feature.

Looking to add custom built-ins to your home? Our team can create unique solutions tailored to your needs and style.

This wall unit sits in its own recess, so we built it to fill the opening from wall to wall and finished it with crown moulding along the top. Three open cubbies across the top are ideal for baskets or display pieces, and the large open bay in the middle leaves plenty of room for a desk, a bench or whatever the space needs.

Down below, the four drawers are a good size for everyday storage, and the brass pulls add a little warmth against the crisp white paint. The grey back wall of the open bay gives the unit some depth and helps it stand out against the carpet.
