We designed, built and installed this wall unit for our client in Belwood, ON.

These floor to ceiling cabinets turn one wall into a huge amount of storage. The grey shaker doors are set in three rows, with the tallest in the middle and shorter doors at the top and bottom, and black pulls run in neat lines across the whole front.

The unit fills its alcove from side to side, and the pot lights above wash down over the doors. The rich grey paint sits nicely against the light wood floor and the white walls.

With a wall like this you can tuck away everything from linens to seasonal gear, and the room stays clutter-free.

We kept the doors flat and simple with shaker frames so the wall reads as one calm surface, and we built it right up to the ceiling so there’s no dusty ledge on top. It’s a hard-working wall that still looks like fine furniture in the room.
