We designed, built and installed this wall unit for our client in Kitchener, ON

These wall units bring a warm wood finish to a family room in Kitchener. Bookcases with open shelves sit on both sides of the fireplace, and the wood mantel matches the rest of the unit so the whole wall reads as one piece.

The shelves hold books, photos and keepsakes, so everything has its place. With the warm tones of the wood, the room feels cozy and inviting.

A fireplace wall is one of the best places for built-ins, because it’s already where everyone’s eye goes when they walk into the room.

Natural wood tones give the space a traditional feel. We built the shelves at heights that suit both books and framed photos. The mantel is finished in the same wood as the shelves, so the fireplace and the bookcases look like they belong together.
