We designed, built and installed this fireplace mantel for our client in Guelph, ON

This white custom mantel has a little extra detail. Slatted trim runs across the frieze under the shelf and along the base, giving it a craftsman feel. Together, they frame the black gas insert and tile surround beautifully.

The warm wood floor and the long piece of art above the fireplace make a great pairing with the clean white mantel. It’s a timeless look that brings the whole wall together.

Details like these are where a custom mantel really shines. Each piece is cut and fit so the lines stay straight and the joints stay tight once it’s installed.

We build each mantel in our shop and then install it in the home, fitting it carefully to the walls and floor. Small things, like even gaps and smooth paint, make a big difference to how a mantel looks up close.
