We designed, built and installed this fireplace mantel for our client in Guelph, ON.

This classic white mantel has a wide shelf and pilasters on each side, framing a beautiful patterned blue-green tile surround. The gas fireplace sits in the middle, and a slate hearth runs across the floor.

The white mantel lets the colourful tile take centre stage, and it looks great against the warm wood floor. It’s a nice balance of traditional shape and personal style.

We love working with clients who have a clear idea of the finishes they want. A good mantel should frame those choices and bring them together, rather than compete with them.

Each mantel we build starts with a visit to the home, so we can see the fireplace, the finishes and the room before we design anything.
