We designed, built and installed this corner fireplace mantel. It has panelled pilasters, a panelled frieze and a crown-moulded shelf, framing a grey marble-look tile surround.

In the middle sits a black cast fireplace insert with a traditional look. The mantel’s classic detailing suits it perfectly.

Fitting a mantel into a corner means every piece has to be angled to meet the walls. The pilasters and shelf are built to sit snug in the corner, so the mantel looks solid and settled.

The bright white finish works well with the warm wood floor and the soft wall colour. It turns an awkward corner into the coziest spot in the room.

Each part of the mantel is measured and built to fit, then installed on site. We take care with every joint so the detailing stays crisp.
