We designed, built and installed this floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace mantel. Light stacked stone runs across the corner from the floor to the ceiling, with a dark wood mantel shelf over the gas insert.

The dark shelf stands out against the pale stone and gives the fireplace a strong line across the middle. The texture of the stone adds warmth and interest to the room.

Corner fireplaces can be tricky, but taking the stone all the way to the ceiling makes this one feel grand and intentional. The mantel shelf is cut to sit neatly against the angled stone.

With the light walls and wood floor, the whole space feels bright, natural and welcoming.

We build each mantel to suit the fireplace and the room, then install it ourselves to make sure it’s level and secure. We take care with every detail.
