We designed, built and installed this fireplace mantel with wood built-ins. Stacked stone surrounds the linear fireplace, and a long wood mantel shelf runs across the whole wall.

Floating wood shelves sit on the stone for décor, and on the right, a wood panel holds the TV above a tall cabinet. Open shelves on the far side add more room for display.

The warm wood and the earthy tones of the stone work beautifully together. It’s a modern, natural look that feels cozy and well put together.

Combining a mantel with built-ins makes the most of the whole wall. Instead of a fireplace on its own, the family gets storage, display space and a place for the TV, all in one design.

We design each wall like this one to fit the room exactly, then build and install every piece ourselves. We take care with every detail.
