Kitchens #40
A kitchen breakfast bar is the spot where everyone ends up, whether it’s for coffee in the morning or homework after school.
This one has a light, veined countertop that overhangs a white cabinet base, with room for three high-back bar stools. Behind it, white cabinets line the kitchen, with frosted glass-front uppers at one end, a stainless microwave set into the uppers and a stainless fridge at the far end. Two pendant lights hang over the counter, giving the breakfast bar a warm glow in the evening, and the stools tuck neatly under the overhang when they’re not in use.
The white cabinetry keeps the space bright, while the warm wood floor and soft grey walls make the kitchen feel cozy and welcoming. It’s a simple layout that makes the most of the room, with the cook and the company only a countertop apart.
