This above ground pool deck fills the space between the house and the pool. A run of wood steps leads up from the walkway to the deck, and from there it’s just a few steps more to the edge of the water.

There’s room on the deck for a lounge chair in the sun, so you can relax right beside the pool. The wood steps and deck boards are a warm match for the brick, and a small light at the base of the steps helps in the evening.

Building an above ground pool deck means working around the pool wall, the house and the yard all at once. We measure carefully and plan the levels before any wood is cut. That’s how we do every job at Palmer’s Woodworking in Fergus.
