Cabanas #9

Cabana counter and cabinets with a speckled stone-look top and natural wood doors against wood plank walls, designed, built and installed by Palmer's Woodworking.

Inside this cabana, a long counter and cabinets give the space real storage and a place to prepare food or drinks. The counter has a speckled stone-look top with a short backsplash, and natural wood doors sit below.

The walls are lined with wood planks that match the cabinets, so the whole room has a warm, cottage feel. Simple dark knobs on the doors keep the look clean.

A counter like this turns a cabana into a much more useful space. There’s room to set down a tray of glasses, keep snacks handy or store towels and pool supplies out of sight.

We built the cabinets to fit the wall exactly, so the counter runs neatly from one end to the other with no awkward gaps.

The stone-look top is easy to wipe down, which helps in a space that sees wet hands and sandy feet.

From the same cabana, see the wall of cubbies.
