This basement bar has a built-in bench seat at the end of the cabinets, with a dark cushion on top. It’s a comfy spot to sit and chat while someone mixes the drinks.

Along the wall, dark wood cabinets hold a bar fridge and plenty of storage, and corner cabinets with glass doors sit up high. The bar counter wraps around the front, with a raised top for guests.

The window above the bench brings in daylight, and the TV on the wall makes this a great place to hang out.

The bench is built to match the cabinets, so it looks like part of the bar.

A built-in bench is a nice way to add seating without filling the room with chairs.

From this angle, you can see how the bar, the cabinets and the bench all share the same dark wood and the same simple door style, which keeps the room calm even with so much going on.
